It is clearly the run in now and we cannot win the league! Still have hopes of a play off place however.

 

Seriously without appearing complacent a mid table place is probable with an outside chance of finishing in the top half.

 

Of the clubs below us Carshalton appear to be almost down along with Wingate and Finchley. Thurrock appear to be able to survive though fixture congestion may bring them down.

 

Hastings and Lewes ought to be sweating.

 

But ourselves, Harrow and surprisingly, considering their showing at Bromley, Cray Wanderers appear reasonably safe. I don't believe that any other club is in the relegation mix.

Poor day against one of the strongest teams in the division. Let's keep a sense of proportion.

I don't think it was that bad a performance. We knew it would be tough but with a weakened side we held our own for the first half. We have the football skill but lacked pace yesterday and that showed. They broke several times and kept Imber alert if not busy. We managed one worthwhile shot on target yesterday in the first half and Hope was desperately unlucky not to score.

 

When/if we become safe I hope that Steve can bring in some youngsters.
