Rob Anderson has asked me to let you all know that he will be in the bar at the ground at 2.30 tomorrow and is happy to talk to anyone about the situation reported in today's press.

A response from the club has been prepared and will hopefully appear on the website this evening.

Its a bit worrying that almost all the comments replying to this news in the local press are supporting the school and dissing the Rebels ideas Perhaps we should start getting our point of view over?

They can't seem to get that one right. They have been saying that for ages, and it has been pointed out several times.

Might seem a silly question but has anyone spoken to the Express sports editor Charles Watts to get this story correct.

Seems blindingly obvious but then again maybe not....

If the Stoke Poges NIMBYS don't want the school built there maybe we could swap ( assuming there is enough room )then they really would have traffic and noise troubles.OR WHY DON'T the school people except defeat and look elsewhere.Surely we are far enough down the road with the planing and finances and also the builders ( also have not heard of any local objections ) to warrant continuing with the project.

It seems to me a political decision.Either that or its not been thought out properly.

Rob Anderson offered a degree of reassurance on Saturday and mentioned some of what he and his team would be doing both legally and in terms of seeking support. I hope someone on his behalf can post some of what was said on here so that it can have wider distribution.Equally some of us were given details of which individuals to write to about this and again I would hope that this list is also shown on here so that the strong feelings we all have can be sent to the right people.........................and it would seem that Martin's thought of an online petition is an important aspect of this also
