Rob007
Has anyone got any info on football club called Whyteleafe Albion that ceased to exist in 1946?
Lee Farmie
I have some very sketchy history and a few photos. I know someone who knows a bit more (Tony Lidbury, President of Whyteleafe FC). Their ground still exists is now a playing field for Kenley Junior School and the old stand still sits in the same place. This is in Valley Road/New Barn Lane. Groundtastic's Vince Taylor recently tweeted a photo of it.
E&E Rich
Whyteleafe Albion were a London League team briefly in the thirties that I came across while doing my Epsom history a few years back. They joined in 1929 and played for two seasons. I have final League tables for those two seasons, so if you want them, pm me. Epsom & Ewell met them there four times, twice in the League and once each in Amateur Cup and Surrey Charity Shield. Again I have the dates if interested.
