All well and good Frustin, but go back to the source of where are clubs going to find the money to pay to have 3G installed (not sure how much) especially now in this current financial climate ?? The last 2 winters have been freak winters, it could be a sign of change with global warming but lets not have a knee jerk reaction yet......

You can't call the 4 worst years for rainfall in the last 100 years happening in the last 12 years 'freak'. This could well become our normal weather pattern.

Oh crap. We were all going down there on 4th May for a jolly up!

Hastings' reserve manager resigned last night. I don't know what this means for their future in the Suburban League. At least it saves our pitch from a mullering today.

For info Chris, someone at Hastings has tweeted that their reserves will finish the season and their problems will be sorted out over the weekend.

Stop talking bolloxs Duncs

What sort of response is this you fecking imbosil at least give us a reason as to why you think it aint right, surely clubs would be better off and wth lower water tables in the summer months there is more chance of games being on than keep being called off......over to you mr. diplomat.

The only problem with having summer games is that it's when the grass grows. If you play during that time all the pitches will be bald. Wouldn't bother me but I don't think the players would like it.

Anyway - Sheerwater v Epsom A. is postponed. Just Hanworth Villa left to declare now.

Duncs, I am not in favour of football during the summer but that might just be me being a bit old fashioned.

When would you propose that the season starts and finishes?

Would it be football at all levels in this country?

What would happen to clubs such as Worcester Park that share with cricket?
