CCL v SSML (Tonite)

Recommended Posts

My point was I don't think they contacted many clubs which Deano seems to imply as well. I think the league are partly to blame by not enforcing clubs to release players. They could have ensured that a maximum of 2 players selected per club and if they were not available they could not play in the next league game.

Munchkin - That's all spot on, the League could easily postpone all Division 2 fixtures the Saturday before an FA Inter League cup tie to make sure it is taken seriously

I bet the SSML's name is mud at the FA, the Inter League Cup competition isn't Mickey Mouse and it's mentioned in the same breath as the FA Cup, FA Trophy, FA Vase and FA Youth Cup on their Website. Anyway you've changed your tune as when Padbury were in Division 2 anyone would have thought the competition was like the World Cup, Champions League and FA Cup all rolled into one!

Here we go folks, TW@T rolling back the years again.

But for his benefit I'm sure he will enlighten us with how many players from Padbury were part of the set up.....I'll start the proceedings with zero, any takers on above that???

Well yes, exactly, that's my point, and you let us all know about it in no uncertain terms, you didn't say 'or they could withdraw to save the League all the hassle' then did you!

When myself and Craig were at padbury I contacted Richard Everett to say that our players were available but I received no reply. In my opinion we had a few players plenty good enough to be in the squad and it was something that I thought be be good personally for the players and indeed the representive team.He played all the 61fc players and no one from any other team.I find it ridiculous that in a competition like this to not be able to even get a side together is embarresing to put it politely.

Yes, it's bordering on the criminal isn't it yet all Ref Off Ref can say is 'or they could withdraw to save the League all the hassle', that sums him up doesn't it!

Whereas TW@T sums you up.

Considering you've f**k all to do with the SSML TW@T I wouldn't let it bother you that much.
