"Wingate & Finchley take on Thurrock in what will be the third or three matches supported by the Kick it Out campaign.

As part of the weekend long drive to combat discrimination in football, Kick it Out will be there to hand out material, host a pre-match disability tournament is no and offer football coaching for small children.

Additionally, in celebration of mother’s day, all mums who wish to attend the fixture will be allowed in free of charge.

All these extras will go towards making the match day experience unique, but there is no matchday without a match. ".

Oh dear, got that one wrong then!

Can someone explain why the match was called off with the players being sent off? If the players deserved the cards how can it then be abandoned to the detriment of the other team?

PLAYERS from FA Rules

A match is played by two teams, each consisting of not more than eleven players, one of whom is the goalkeeper. A match may not start if either team consists of fewer than seven players.

I remember Neil Warnock doing that when his team were losing, (I can't remember who he was managing). I think they had three red cards and had used their subs and a player was injured. Another player went down, and it was thought that warnock had ordered him to, knowing that the match would be aboandoned
