  • 2 weeks later...

I'll be posting a nomination thread shortly, once all March games have been completed so that it might help Mark.

For me though Phil Starkey deserves some recognition for being ultra consistent. A player who goes about his business without getting many plaudits yet continues to be a major player at full back. Also consistent thus far have been Holloway and Beales. Others who deserve consideration for March, for me,are Bodkin,Hand,Dolby & Brown for various reasons.

In my point of view the best improved player for March so far is Tommy Murphy, with Tommy Whitnell a close 2nd. A one time I wondered why they were included in the team. However after both being on the subs bench they have both come out fighting and look like the players we saw in the pre-season friendlies.

I HAVE'NT ACTUALLY SEEN HIM PLAY IN THAT POSITION-BUT IS THERE a case for Dolby.

Not sure many of us thought he could do well at left back-where from all reports-he has done well.

Without him stepping in-we would have been well up the creek without a paddle

In terms of 'achievement '-is that as good as anything else ?
