Dare to dream...

I missed today's game as my 7 year old , however enthusiastic he is for a burger at half time at hartsdown, wouldn't have servived or enjoyed the weather.... But the staff at the new bumble beez play area on pysons road where I spent the afternoon have never seen a smile as big as mine as I followed the twitter feed and the goals banging in for the gate....

The chances of playoffs- strong, and also results in a way went our way today, couple of draws inc met police who I thought have been strong recently and they too like us think they can squeeze in there.

There must be many a fair weather (if honest that's what I am in terms of attending) margate fan who is also gleaming at recent results, and I'm sure that that will increase crowds... Wish there was building work going on coz I'm also sure that improved facilities (like Maidstone) and crowds would easily be 8-900 even at this level god knows what would happen if we actually went up.

Is this the season... Playoffs and up, up up!

Fingers crossed

Terrific game - loads of good football and on the ground - Tommy Murphy ran the right back ragged as the ball was played out to him from the midfield- I made the new number 24 my m.o.m with Jermaine Brown right behind him but good show from everybody again. Well done lads

Nice to be back amongst some wonderful friends and to be watching wonderful football. Thanks to you all for welcoming me back. Some good individual performances today but the one that stood out most for me was Phil Starkey in central defence. Mopped everything up and was solid all day. New boy Hand came good in second half, Bodkin filled in well at full back as did Dolby. Brown good in midfield..Whitnell took his goals well. All others did a good job too

Overall a very competent and at times exciting performance by every player out there.

Next home game against Canvey is huge. They are our best hope of overtaking a team in a play-off position, so a win is crucial. Also it's an England weekend so maybe the club could repeat some of the initiatives which took place for the Lewes game on Non-League Day.

Great result-very well done-especially with the number of players'out' and many playing out of position today.

Not there-so can't comment sprecifically-but can't help wondering whether the main difference here is at last we have real quality in midfield with brown and now hand-very well augmented with the likes of corneill ,bodkin and stubbs-good in their own right-but always felt we needed just a bit more in midfield-and CH and SO seem to have done exactly that.

Increasingly impressed by what they are doing-regardless of whether we make play offs or not.

I assume Vines commenced his suspension today.

Corneill subbed early on-hopefully not back too early and not too serious ?

Really good squad now-just need them to be fit and available

Just got back. Fantastic game today, I think the recent signings have been inspirational. The players look so confident on the ball and some of the touches today were excellent. One of the best margate perfoprmances I have seen for a long time. Onwards and upwards. Bognor were in the play off places a couple of weeks ago and we made them look very ordinary. Saying that, great away support today added to a good atmosphere. 415 as well which is another good attendance and is steadily rising.
