I just wish to express all the best to Craig Davidson who has left the Club.

 

Pabird is very welcome to come and join us on here and continue the banter and discussion and I hope Crow settles with a new Club shortly.

Also I see that the tickets for the Southend game are going back on sale next Tuesday evening from 7pm onwards.

Excuse my stupidity, but do you (pabird) have anything to do with crow? If so - try and encourage him to come back soon <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> was a pleasure watching him, and a great player that deserves more than a bench

 

Im joining Seevic next year.. Maybe he'll still be there then?

Crow is Craig my youngest son, he will appreciate your comments but (only my opinion) the love affair between crow and Canvey must be at an end

crow went from first choice pre-season (playing 4 at the back) to never being even on the bench after missing two games having taken his seevic team to the USA as reward for them winning a national trophy

Who to blame? no one when you consider team results so far this term and with Jeff always having a preference for mid-fielders and forwards on the bench, if you then add the lack of injuries this term its just the fall of the dice

Canvey will win the league this term both crow and I agree

Only in my opinion, crow would like to have been considered as a player and not simply as a left back (only my opinion Craig)

I very much agree.. Theres too much competition for defence now, with even Chenners being left out.

 

It'd be nice to see him staying in the Ryman.. Just hope he doesnt goto Grays! <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Pabird - The sort of news I don't like to hear. I have always sung Craigs praises, a quality player. I will be very sad to see him go but I do understand he's needs. As everyone else at Canvey I hope he finds what he wants at a club that will appreciate his skills. Also, don't the pair of you ever think about leaving us totally.

Good luck Crow at your new club. Certainly he was one of our most consistent players over the seasons but unfortunately when we reverted to playing 3-5-2 from 4-4-2 at the time of the Port Vale replay three years ago, there was no place for Craig in the side.

More than one offer but he took Thurrock

Would have played Saturday but the Facsimile from Canvey needed to allow him to play did not arrive on time??

Both of us are admirers of the canvey way of playing and will keep an eye open for the Islanders

On Saturday Thurrock rested a few players with the Luton game in mind but still managed some fair football in the second half

Crow was my teacher at South East Essex college and we had some banter.

 

Overall a good fella and i wish him all the best even if me and my mates were a pain at college when he took our lessons!

Excellent news for Crow...Yet another team that plays in Yellow!!

 

Glad to hear he's still at the same competitive level as Canvey. I might actually decide to come down to Shipp Lane when Canvey play there and see how he fairs.
