The Mayor Of Simpleton
Thought they were merging with Feltham? Good luck to them anyway!
bomaya
Thought they were merging with Feltham? Good luck to them anyway! I think that's a separate Bedfont that's a social club. Where's VP when you need him?
blackdouglas
I think that's a separate Bedfont that's a social club. Where's VP when you need him? Yup it's the old Bedfont (the one that was scrapped by the social club to make room for Town to move into The Orchard in the 1st place) that is merging with Feltham to become Bedfont & Feltham FC
bomaya
As I thought so...we could get to the stage where we have three teams with Bedfont in the name in the CCL. That won't be confusing at all.

blackdouglas
Is that the Bedfont that Johnno scored a worldy against in a League Cup final victory a few seasons back - haven't seen that goal for ages If you're talking about the 2009/10 final in which Cove won 2-0 at Staines, then yes. Looking back at the semi-final, was that G.Meakin who scored a hat trick against Horley, Gary Meakin who is now the Wingate & Finchley manager? The Mayor Of Simpleton
When would they be looking at returning? For next season? That would mean 19 teams in CCL1 plus Old Farnoborians (possibly) bumping the league up to 20 members if no team is relegated. A far healthier number than the corresponding Wessex and Hellenic Leagues.
bomaya
No, their ground isn't ready. Expect we are looking at two season's time.
