Friday night football

Yes it seems a lot of clubs have been after his services and he has turned them all down even a southern league team,as I say he was well thought of at Sandhurst and was even working for Salv of course when you are playing for a team who is bottom then things aren't as happy as if you were top,as I say you have done well to sign him but you must have someone with deep pockets in your ranks, nothing wrong with that in today climate I however think nobody should be paid at this level its becoming ridiculous.Lets get a level playing field then we will find out the true value of teams and thier management.

As I've previously said on here,I'd happily state if we were paying big wages. I see the ability to pay as the result of a well run club (assuming it's done within their means). However we're not quite there yet.

If players want to sign for us based on these rumours,we're more than happy for them to.

Don't go all defensive Daniel it is a major signing for your club and your management team have done very well, would be interested to find out who approached who and where the deal was done

Not defensive at all Duncs, just stating facts about the club. Sav's doing a great job for us and rather than put it down to money,I just wanted to clarify that it's a lot of hard work and dedication.

Not sure about the details of the signing. I'll try and find out and let you know.

You must have a lot of time on your hands to ask questions you already 'know' the answers to.

Plenty of players have moved between the clubs over the years. Sure there will be plenty more as well in the future.

Thanks nice of you to confirm it though,I sense you are a little uncomfortable by your answeres you don't seem to practice what you have preeched in the past,I did think you came across as someone who was new to this game and a bit naieve,i'm afraid the successful clubs at this level are mainly the wealthier ones you have bought a very good player in Shaun, again well done.

We can't all be as successful and knowledgeable as yourself Duncs. I just hope in time, that I can enjoy a modicum of the success you have enjoyed.

In the meantime,I'll try and help progress a club I've assisted with running for the last 15 years to be as successful as it can be.

I'll be interested how long you stay at Sandhurst. Are you planning to help 'build' something there,or move on when the going gets tough.

Next you will be telling us Baker plays for the love of the game.

It was rediculous that Lats was playing at Sandhurst, to move down another step is just stupid, far to much talent to be playing such a mediocre level of football.

I know what the budget is and it hasn't changed all season (as I've previously stated).

It's less per month than we paid per week 4 years ago (which wasn't a huge amount either).

My point was that the money is not significant enough to be the main reason we are challenging for promotion. There are a number of factors that contribute to the club trying to achieve it's goals.

As I said Naieve, somebody is digging deep to pay these guys you had better find out what is happening at your club, and yes you are right now the going is getting tough i am gonna feck off

Just remind me why you are so interested in the finances of our club?

If you spent a bit more time and effort concentrating on improving your own club (rather than continuously talking a good game),you might see an improvement on the field.

Just a naive opinion, however i am finding It difficult to take someone seriously who doesn't even know the correct name of the player in question.

Yer whatever its not about the spelling of someones name( i'm sure yours aint Danielpin but who gives a feck )its the principle but as I say you have Bought a very good player so well done and good luck to you,I went to watch Frimley Green today and they are definitely not firing on all cylinders at the moment so you must fancy your chances of reeling them in maybe signing Shaun has come at the right time

I think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. Otherwise we'll bore everyone on here (including ourselves) even more than we already have

It's very close at the top. Still believe that any of the top 8/9 could finish in the top 3. Frimley should be ok,as they have a very strong squad. Who do you think will finish top 3?

I didn't think Eversley met the ground criteria in order to go up? Their floodlights aren't up as far as I'm aware, and it appears this needs to be done by the end of the month.....can't see it somehow!

Chubby,do you ever make a positive post about any Club, you are still in my bad books, for calling a certain Manager a thug.Is an APOLOGY forthcoming?
