lol.....Pegasus FC from Whitmore Reans had a few like that ;)

Haha they had guy sent off against us for punching left winger (who by the way was all of 5foot nothing) in the back of the head after he had clattered him. Ref sent him off and for good measure he punched 3 more on his way then went to car got a hammer and threatened the ref. we had a 22 man brawl with them in another game I also got subbed after being knocked out with a forearm smash, that's only the half of it. They were lunatics (from Slough) however after the game in their Irish pub great food and they were good as gold we went in half expecting it to end in a blood bath.

Played against Alpha Arms in a friendly at start of season for Ascot Reserves, few Irish lads who were pretty solid. FC Beaconsfield in the Berks and Bucks cup for Chalfont Wasps this season was a funny one. Played on an open field, two club linesmen, half the other team were stoned and were content with kicking us, elbowing us, threatening us and the ref.

I played Alpha back in late 90's in 3 b&b ties over two consecutive seasons can't imagine there would be anyone left from that side but I'm sure the attitude is still alive and kicking

Stop whining.....you could always have Clapton,

Bethnal Green and London Asbo in your league

I can vouch for that, Clapton even though they are a great old club with an amazing history is a

khazi. Those loose electric cables hanging from the ceiling in the showers didn't give you a great deal of confidence. Also Sawbridgeworth's away changing room was horrible. A few benches, grey, very dreary & a urinal in the corner. First played there as a 17 year old & went back as a coach 17/18 years later & it was still the same.

Back on topic-

Bedford FC is certainly the most depressing ground. Not the worst, but the most depressing.

excellent pitch, side and management committee.

But living in the shadow of Bedford Town FC, and driving past the new groun to reach Bedford's is quite sad.
