Most Depressing SSML Ground ?

Why ?

Horrible place, horrible pitch, horrible ground. You will never have to go SB thank your lucky stars (unless you get them away in challenge trophy I guess) grim

I could have imagined this but didn't someone get stabbed there during a game.

Yeah couple of years back in the clubhouse. Luton Old Boys place was pretty fecking grim too and AC Delco, Flamstead, Markyate

London Tigers have an alright ground I believe, maybe due to my roots that go back to Viking Greenford and Viking Sports.

I have to say 61FC Luton is a dump, played there when I was college and it was so bad. I've not been to many games or played in various grounds in this league.

Some decent people involve with 61 though. My memories of the place include a lad breaking his ankle from a hole in the pitch, find an upturned broken bottle dug into the pitch, driving past a car on fire in the road leading towards the entrance and nearly being hit by a cricket ball from kids playing on the wicket behind the top goal.

As a player I've always hated playing Harpenden & Stony although the pitch surrounds are not depressing. Hale Leys was rather souless on an open field & no proper clubhouse. There are quite a few that are much bleaker in the winter or bad weather but quite ok when the sun is shining!

Yeah comment had nothing to do with the decent people at 61 just solely my opinion on the ground

I'll add my opinion too:

61- a run down area, but run by an absolute diamond bloke, Richard Everitt. The man sold his house to pay for clubhouse refurbishments after a fire. He makes the best of an awful situation.

Hale Leys- their current situation is just a roped off council pitch-have to feel for them. Hope they can make it back to their own place.

Bell Close, Leighton Town (Aylesbury)- not depressing but the changing rooms are horrific.

Harependen- for the affluence of the town, you gotta feel for Harpenden. Changing rooms and 'clubhouse' are horrible- glad they got the funding for it to be sorted.

Please, anyone affiliated with the clubs don't be offended.

Know they are no more but in their final season Brache Sparta took some beating, from the pitch to the state of the facilities and after match so called grub

Yeah horrible over there they always seemed to be more interested in kicking you than playing footy too
