cup of tea
I know that our current position in the league isn't too promising to say the least, but I still believe that we can get ourselves out of this situation. I think we've missed a few opportunities to get more points recently and have had a fair slice of bad luck as well (which you always seem to get when you're down there). If you take Billericay and Eastbourne out of the equation for a minute, then the games in hand situation is nearly gone (and I think that Billericay has got a tough couple of weeks in front of them). We just need to get a win in the near future to get us back within striking distance. Just a bit of good luck to go our way, a sliced shot into the back of the net etc. It will be tough, but I'm still hopeful.

The Great Eckscape
Here's a question for you - how have you enjoyed this season as supporters compared to your time in the Ryman Prem?
cup of tea
I have personally enjoyed it more - The grounds are better, the football is better, Obviously it's nice to be winning more like we were in the Ryman Prem but that was never likely to happen given the size and finances of some of the teams in this league. shrimper
ive enjoyed the league much more than the ryman league of course its better when u win more but yes the football has been better and faster quite a few teams have promising youngers on loan from football league clubs teams look much more professional away grounds better more chance of good cup draws by coming in during later rounds
shrimper
i think most of the posters here do stick by the team and turn up when ever they can , and who will always give the team every support during a game its the people who are not the die hard type of fans that the club need to turn up in greater numbers and to get behind the team but how that can be achieved who knows i doubt many extra will turn up for the bath game not matter how important it is just seems thats the way it is
Lord Upminster
We are leaving it late. It will be touch and go whether we can accumulate enough points before the end of the season. But that's what football is all about. We showed good spirit on Saturday and the tail end of the season may prove to be just as exciting and on a knifes edge as last season but for different reasons. I am enjoying it and while its possible its the Urchin way to battle on. We are a small club that always has to punch above its weight to compete. Lets give 100 per cent and ask the players to give likewise and see where we end up. Come on you Urchins.........
urchinman1961
I didnt realize anyone was giving up ?
Eastside Urchin
We are not.we are not getting stuffed by anyone, just failing to win,we are still picking up important points on our travels and if we can win the majority of our home games we will be ok
paokman
The last few games have just needed us to score a couple of goals and we'd have been in a much healt.hier position. Sounds simple but that's all it'll take in the next few too. So I'm confident
aka PeteBeatz
Urchins NEVER give up, that's how we worked our way back up from the slums of the ESL. We have the desire and players to get out of jail.
