Ryan.c
Leon Smith looks a decent signing. Scored loads for Wingate. Always impressed when he played against us.

blue pilgrim
i DON'T C On your biko son. Welcome back emeka, always like the look of him. Still waiting for figures on how many players we've fielded this season. Any stattos out there?? I don't care, as long as someone can find the net on a regular basis
extaffyjim
Finding the net is most definitely not our problem
blue pilgrim
Finding the net is most definitely not our problem It's simple game really, score more than they score against you - it would be nice to have a goalpoacher who scores on a regular basis. Perhaps the new guy Smith, who scored today on his debut, is the man

We have scored more than Weston (6th place), and conceded only 5 fewer than Truro (22nd place), who have played more games, and were playing on the brink of nonexistence for a fair part of the season. Whilst I don't disagree it would be nice to have a 1 in 2 striker in our squad, I don't think there's any doubt as to which end of the pitch our problems are rooted in
blue pilgrim
Are you going on Tuesday then blue pilgrim? (Just asking) I never miss a home game unless work dictates and I will certainly be there on Tuesday. Going away is a bit more problematic and I do occasionally watch my 2nd eleven. Have you anything on the ratio of chances converted? Do you not think that midfield could take the pressure off the defence by holding the ball up a bit more? I don't claim to have all the answers, not by a long chalk, but no clean cheets in 3 months or so is a worry for me. At least no one can claim we aren't exciting to watch this season, an incredible amount of goals all round
