Surrey Premier Cup

Recommended Posts

I've heard today that although Staines Lammas beat Westfield in the semi final this week it will actually be Westfield who progress to the final by default curtesy of Lammas playing an ineligible player! Does anyone know anything about this?? Apparently the player concerned was only brought on for the last few minutes, oh dear!!

Funnily enough there is also an allegation of an ineligible player being involved in the other semi final match (Mole Valley v Walton Casuals Res). Again, anyone know the details?

Would be a tad ironic if we end up with a Westfield v Mole Valley final.

Hey Chubby, seems to be lots of speculation surrounding the eventual finalists in the Premier Surrey Cup albeit Westfield seem to now be confirmed at Staines expense. What is the allegation from the MVSCR & Walton Casuals match?

Hmm interesting Legend thank you, but either someone is playing mind games (for what gain I'm not certain if its fabricated) or someone genuinely knows something, I thought though according to rules I saw, protests had to be lodged within 2 days of the match and backed with £100 fee so surely it's too late in any case?.

I'm sure Surrey FA check eligibility automatically so there's not neccessarily a need for anyone to protest. Chessington & Hook Reserves were removed from the competition in the third round and, as mentioned elsewhere, a few years ago, two teams were chucked out after playing their semi-final in the Senior Cup. Both teams had played each other so I doubt it was a case of either of them lodging a protest.

Ah, didn't know that about C&H and the 3rd round. I refereed that fixture. Feels weird for it to (ultimately) not count for anything!

Chubby we have NOT to date appealed to county and why would we deny it if we believe we have grounds?

Does seeking clarity on a few points from

Those who'll know constitute in your opinion lodging an official protest, cos we believe there is a huge difference.

If we were reinstated we'd be singing from the mountain tops not hiding it & you can 100% believe that.
