It seems we are always reading about the MV management team are they exempt from the rules the rest of us have to adhere to ?if you don't do what the officials ask you to do then you are rightly asked to leave the dug out, after that you recieve a fine and a ban(I know because it has happened to me )if you persist with this behaviour then I think the FA should start handing out some pretty hefty fines to the person in question and the club, its got to stop we are talking about senior football not a pub team.

Ironic how people come onto this forum with their opinionated views which is considered in the main "ok", whilst managers and coaches such as those at Kilburn and MV are chastised for being overly passionate about their teams.

Dunc as you say this is Senior football so why should managers or officials at low levels of the pyramid be penalised for the fact that this level remains in the main one man and his dog while our counterparts at higher levels get away with murder due to much bigger crowds and I guess easier to pass off as unheard, despite being visibly seen on TV week in week out with players and officials voicing their "frustration" at poor decisions.

Likewise tsf. Throwing the ball out like that takes years of practice apparently!

Cove 1-1 Epsom

A fair result. Cove shaded possesion in the second half, while I thought we were unfortunate to go behind in the first.

That said, we equalised very quickly and despite some chances for both sides, including one great shot just before half time that flew back off our bar I thought a point each was the right outcome.

If we are to keep any pressure on Guernsey and South Park though (as I feel Egham will win it now) we now need to get back to winning ways urgently. The last two fixtures we had have been tough. One advantage that we do have coming up is that our next three matches (Hartley -H, Molesey -A, Guernsey -H) are against teams that have other games 48 hours before our match. I think we'll need to win all three to stand a chance of going up, but if we can, our run in is fairly good with only Guernsey -A, South Park -H and Cove -H remaining to play from the top eight.
