OldTowner
Recent results including a great WIN on Tuesday evening, have given us a Feel Good feeling again. This coming Saturday at 3.00pm we entertain Lewes in the Ryman Premier League at the QEII Stadium. With the Spurs v Arsenal match taking place on Sunday, why not take the opportunity to come along and see an alternative Premier match. Let's get there in numbers and support The Town. oh and don't forget - we are holding a Social evening in Butler's Bar from 8.00pm. Both events... Not to be missed. Chase Side Towner
Great result, decent performance, very pleased with the victory. Lewes never bothered Noel much in the first half, Bryan's goal must be a contender for poacher's goal of the year, slamming the ball home from zero yards. I feared for his hamstring during his celebratory sprint. Lewes were a bit more up for it in the second half. They created a few openings in the last 20 minutes or so, but then so did we. The better team deservedly won. Great run of results by Steve and the boys. Another really good test on Tuesday night against Concord who look likely to make the play-offs. JFrancis
Attended my first Enfield game Saturday. Really enjoyed especially atmosphere behind the goal! Thought we played well bit nervy near the end but thought it was the right result.
Enfield United
Attended my first Enfield game Saturday. Really enjoyed especially atmosphere behind the goal! Thought we played well bit nervy near the end but thought it was the right result. I was also entertaining a group of guy's for our youth section on Saturday, with 2 of the fella's saying that they did not know Enfield Town's ground was at the QE. Having picked myself up from the floor they left the game saying they too will be returning regularly as their young lad's (aged 9) enjoyed the experience. It goes to show, as a supporters club we collectively still have a lot of awareness work to do.
