For me,Dagenham makes perfect sense.

They are not in play off contention, don't believe they have a fixture pile up.

For me,it has to be segregated.Am sure nothing will happen but if both clubs had over 500 fans each which is very realistic then you have to cover all angles.

Not sure Aveley could really cope with a crowd if 1200 plus, maybe they could but I am not too sure how they would segregate it.

Also, you want a final to be a decent atmosphere, this simply wouldn't happen at Aveley, they have no real covered terrace apart from a small area behind one goal and another to the side.At dagenham you could probably open up two sides one for each fans

I would obviously prefer Dagenham as its 2/3 stops on the district line for us but for grays its a bit harder.

Southend seems the logical choice as it can hold big crowds easily, both sets of fans can get the train there easy enough, there's plenty of parking and the pubs are ok.

Somewhere like Aveley or Thurrock, while convenient simply couldn't cope with a crowd over 1000 if the majority of people chose to drive.

Also the public transport from Hornchurch/upminster to aveley is pretty lame,or even non existant which is ludicrous given the proximatey of the two towns.

Its also impossible to determine how many fans will be in attendance from each club, could be as little as 3-400 each or as many as 1000-1500 from each,it's a tie that does seem to stir the imagination given the rivalry stretching back 10 years or so.Think many old faces will be back for both clubs which can only be a good thing for both clubs IMO.

Twitter was on overload with people from other clubs talking about it so you may get a very good number of neutrals at the game and I hope they confirm Roots Hall as a venue ASAP so both clubs can start planning this Final

If it's Thurrock don't bother getting to the ground before 6.45 as the clubhouse doesn't open before then.
