BlueGate Alan
Not an easy choice, as the team played well as a unit. Beales & Vines look strong together, Dolby played well at left back, Purcell did his job as a striker, Rook won a fair few headers, Holloway not much to do but when needed pulled off a stunning one handed save. Bodkin & Stubbs worked their socks off but for me Jermaine Brown stole the show in midfield, plenty of time on the ball, always found his man with his passes (he did get subbed but not surprising as only his 2nd full game for a while). Poll to close Thursday PM.
dannyriding
George Purcell gets it just cos its nice to see a striker do his job clinically (not meant as a dig to current strikers)
dflman
They were all pretty good last night - agree about Jermaine's coolness on the ball and obviously George snapping another two goals was great but watched Matt Bodkin last night and he did an Alan Ball and covered every blade of grass so he gets my vote for that
AncientBlue
Jermaine for me, to come on and put in an outstanding performance.

michael
Not there-so can't comment specifically, but it seems like saturday-bodkin and stubbs worked really hard and well together;and in particular-like everything i read about Brown. even on saturday in his 4 minute cameo-touched the ball times-but just looked accmplished and unhurried. Maybe the central midfield player to slow things down/keep possession that i have been crying out for over the last 18 months. With Avery and corneille to come back-at last we have 5 decent and proper players who can control the game from central midfield.
Broadstairs Dave
Jermaine for me 45 minutes of how midfield should be played, before tiring, get fit soon!
BlueGate Alan
Well done to George in just his 2nd game for us, and a good 2nd place for Jermaine in his first full game! Good votes for Matt & captain fantastic John too. Shows what a great team effort it was.
