Div One promotion hopefuls

The Phoenix

Recommended Posts

It's 50 seats to get a grade G, 100 to get an F.

You need a G to be promoted from Division One (in fact, as of this season, you need a G just to stay in Division One).

Promoted clubs need an F by March 31st the following season to stay at step 5 so, if Frimley Green do come up, they need to increase the size of their stand and have separate cover for at least 100 people to stay in the Premier Division.

Edited cos I can't spell.

Will do Dalts if you'd like to PM me your name and what team your involved with then I'd happily meet you for a beer after a game. Why am I hiding behind the keyboard??? I have revealed all about myself several times on here already, please do pay attention. You know as much about me as I know about you.

So is the ground deadline still 31st March? If so, have Eversley got lights, hard standing etc and Frimley got seats ready for this date? If not, presumably neither can go up or am I wrong?

Cue Green Fingers or VP!

Q Daniel

TRS ... There are some very switched on people working behind the scenes at Eversley so have no doubt we will be ready for promotion ( if we are good enough to make it!)

Chubby is a knocker of the lowest ilk, probably like NICE GUY never gets to see anyone bar his home Club watch another side.By his posts,he obviously supports Knaphill or Eversley. He in my eyes is low grade, reason he called a Man he has never met,a thug.So far from the truth,it is unbelievable, but does not even have the balls,to apologise for such a damning statement.

Harsh to knock Ellers the poor geezers trying to learn a trade. I've got a lot of time for any manager, coach. Physio who take their time out of their life to manage the game. We all have family's, Phil could easily spend it with his wife and kids but decides to put dedicate his time time to football. You can't knock that.

Hi Smudge. CB writes some negative comments (obviously entitled to his own views) about Eversley as well),therefore I don't think he is part of our committee.

Lots of work done at the ground this week. Electricity cables are in for the lights, hard standing is 70% completed etc. the new chairman has done an amazing job greeting everything in place, just need to try and finish top 3 now.

Thanks for posting this Chris, as a casual observer of this forum and being involved with what's going on in Yateley I can confirm that there is a genuine ambition, & A LOT of work being done, to progress the United club in every respect. Certainly exciting times are ahead for us and we're looking forward to the challenges that no doubt this will bring!

As regards which league/divisions we will start in, this is currently being discussed and we should hopefully have a good idea in the coming weeks on this.

Bomaya - Unfortunately we're not quite brave enough to go for both green & orange in 1 kit so green will remain our home colours and orange our change strip.

Good to hear that both Eversley and Frimley will hopefully have the grading works carried out by the deadline. Will this be the first time for ages that all the top 3 may go up? Even though Dorking is likely to be one of the casualties if this happens, it has to be right that teams finishing in a promotion position should go up.

Agree with that.
