This is very bad news for you, He is a tactical genious and is worshipped by nearly every darlo fan out there, with Mick in charge, my prediction was 2-1 to u lot, but with God, I mean Hodgie, in charge Im saying 2-0 to us The game will defffo be no walkover for either team. Good news for u, this will mean more darlo fans will be coming down so increasing your revenue. All in all, its going to be a great day out. Oh, and Ill pay for your Urchinettes or watever they are called to strip, mmmmmmmmm. THERES ONLY ONE DAVID HODGSON!!!

 

PS. How much is the average pint im used to paying £1.60 so I have its not gonna be somert like £2.20 which is wat I payed on my last away game.

looks like a bottle of vodka will be needed then to give me a head start. DAMN YOUR PRICES!!! nevermind, its only a one off. Id hate to go to a nightclub down there then, up here in a night club its £2.90 a pint, wats yours £10? lol

His first spell he was joint manager back in 1996, Im not too sure y he left then but it was over some fall out with the other manager I think. His second spell was from 1998 - 2000. Here he spent 2 seasons building one of the best teams Darlo have ever had and the best team Div 3 had ever had in it far a long time,(not jsut my opinion but my other clubs too) for us to narrowly miss out on automatic promotion and to loose at wembly which was a massive blow. After this GR took 5 mins to dismantly the entire squad, we lost 6 of the players that summer as GR decided they wer earning too much. Gr then published all the wages in the papers and the went on air and slagged of Hodgie. After this there was no way Hodgie could continue. But now, Gr is starting to come to his senses and has begged him to come back. He has also raised the ban on all fans that he banned. Somert has happened to GR and its scary but lets see if we can start rebuilding now. ONE DAVID HODGSON!!!

The bad news for Darlo is that Bradley Allen looked class and assuming he starts up front with Vinny will hopefully cause Darlo no end of problems!!

Hodgie has not took charge yet. He starts Monday. Also, lets see u beat us with 9 men. we took the lead, got a man sent off. conceded 2, got another man sent off, then lost 3-1. Next game is u lot for us so we shall see wat happens. Hodgie is a players agent so he has got all the contacts. Thats how he built the first squad back in 99.

I will admit one thing, we have NO strikers left and our star defender is banned for the match, Craig Liddle, Collet, 2nd best keeper in Div 3 also has a punctured lung. All we have left are kids really. Go to our main site and check out our squad. Most are under 23. So everything is in your favour and as u got plenty of x league players u should have no excuse for defeat really. U also seem to have one hell of a defence as u have conceded very few goals. Im still saying 2-0 to us though. Look forward to seeing u all for a pint or two.

We're all looking forward to it here too. Whatever happens, should be a good game and yes, I did hear you had 2 men sent off and saw that your boys even took the lead!

 

Don't suppose scouts from either camp would have seen too much yesterday to get a real feel of the teams. We played a team a division below us, but for our dominance during the game, they could have been 2 or 3 leagues beneath us and your lot played with 9 men!

The name Darlington may appear in the DIV 3 table, but they players in the team, bar 4 or 5, are far from being classed as DIV 3 class, PAP AND PAP!! u prob have more experienced players in your team than we do. Thus we are 23rd in DIV3 and rapidly looking like join the conf. Here is the list of players we have who came from Higher DIV clubs with several games played at higher leverl --- Liddle, Collet, Maddison and Wainright. THATS IT. The rest we have are from youth set ups, our own or other clubs. Anyway, I dont want to end up in a war of words on here. Im just looking forward to a good day out. Its a long drive for me and my mates.
