Underdogs!

The only one that I can think of which comes close is Swindon Town's victory over Arsenal in 1969.

Don Rogers (who scored for Swindon that day) has sent a message of support to Bradford City ahead of the final.

It would be amazing if they won, but their joint-chairman Mark Lawn has said that they might not take up the offer of a place in Europe due to financial constraints. I hope that they do play in Europe, if they win, and maybe somebody like Sir Richard Branson could fund their European adventure.

I wonder if Dynamo has bet on them?

They should have been in the final that year (FA Cup?) as they had a goal disallowed incorrectly.

I spoke with John Duncan (then the Chesterfield manager, now involved with Loughborough University FC) a few years ago, and his comment about Chesterfield not making the final was 'because some people would have been upset that a little Derbyshire town could reach a major final against all odds.'

The FA luvvies must be so upset that Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal etc. aren't at Wembley today.

Told him it was full money for starting & half if on the bench. The boys scored 4 Saturday so he knew it would be half money next week. We're still in negotiations though.

Biggest cheer was when late in the game they first managed to win a corner and then finally manage a shot on goal.

What was the biggest embarrasment was no National Anthemn because a Welsh Side were in the final. If they dont like it they can clear off to their own league and take Cardiff with them.

Bumped into Andriy Schevchenko today whilst playing golf at Sunningdale GC.

I don't think Bradford had recovered from being beaten by the mighty wombles last Saturday!

They were probably shell shocked by that defeat,a bit like your goodself yesterday when the Wombles won again.By the way Chertsey Town won 4-1 yesterday, suppose that entered your conversation with Andriy Johnno.Did you shout Fore, when your wayward tee shot just missed him.

Swansea are a different level, the philosophy they have created there is class. All down too Martinez.

Yep and their chairman who has been careful to replace like for like in that style.

From what I hear about Cardiff, they might be heading there soon anyway!

£125m in debt, and their owner having to answer charges of corruption in Malaysia.

Well done to Swansea - they've achieved so much in 10 years and have proven that dreams can come true.
