Nope their pitch is genuinely a joke. Wembley manager put a pic of it up on his twitter account and its a mess

Wembley come to Guernsey today when we played there place and asked for a two oclock kick off, there response sod off we got jobs to do and we are frightfully busy.

 

Good to see GFC response to the same request so Wemberly can go home rather than stay overnight, ok two oclock it be.At least it saves GFC the hotel fees.

 

Some of the lads at the airport not to happy as they have to work a split shift and will now miss the first half, you never know the team might get all orifices searched to make sure they did not steal any of the large sand piles from the pitch, on the way out by our very nice customs officers and the plane engineers might have technical problems so as to provide a nice 3 hour delay at the airport, that is if the bus driver does not get lost!

 

Do not forget Wemberly as you said in your program notes you are coming to play the whole island, interesting to see what kind off reception you get today.

Reserve Division

Warlingham Res v Sandhurst Town Res

 

I was also surprised that any games are off today and made enquiries. I am assured in S. Kilburn's case by the referee who carried out the inspection that the pitch is unfit for play and by the Secretary of Warlingham FC with regard to their reserve ground, which has also been inspected in accordance with the rules.

Not resting at all - 5 injuries, 1 suspended & 1 working means the 1st team coach and 6 Youth team players involved today. Still creating a number of chances, just need to put one of them away now ! Sums it up when the only regular 1st team player in the back four today also goes off injured early in the game.
