The Onion Bag

Is it a common them on forums that when things are'nt going quite so well results wise, supporters are more likely to be critical of their fellow supporters ?

Is that vastly different from occasional forum comments/observations about players arguing amongst them selves during matches ?

Onion bag is sad c**t never welcome back at hartsdown.

TescoBazza .... now thats not a nice thing to say :( Your vernacular and erudition are most impressive.

i only made an observation and was wandering why the big dip in results. Was it because of the sudden departure of the manager that has affected the players ? I have my own theory that it is something else. But do you think you can still make and win the playoffs ?

No its not the departure of the previous manager, it is giving starts to players that are not doing the business. Clearly Whitnell and Rook are not working, either as individuals or as a pair. Both goalscoring figures to games played are appalling. Whitnell in particular with only 5 goals in 27 appearances.Yes, he sometimes lays off a decent 5 yard ball but is he on the scoresheet?. No!

Rook is less of a threat to defenders these days.Puts in a lot of effort and screams for a foul more times than not but he does use his strength well, but he too isn't scoring goals.

I'm not one normally for disruption of a team but its clearly not happening up front. My boy Dolby needs a few more full games to get him to peak form and that needs to be allowed to happen. We cannot continue to persist with the two up front. Results will only continue be similar to those of late. There is nothing to lose by changing things at this time.Things can only get better.

I would bring in Brown up front as he did a decent job there previously and put Dolby alongside of him.He will scare the pants out of defenders. Give this guy a chance for goodness sake.We are missing out on so much with this lad we really are.

At the back the defenders are full of experience and should be able to fend of attacks.Sadly this isn't happening either. Those at the back need to stop panicking and use their brains and vast knoweledge more in stopping goals being scored.

There needs to be a shuffling of the pack and whilst the team of late has been entertaining crowds results aren't coming our way. A change is needed before the rot well and truly sets in if indeed it hasn't done so already.

We are much better than this, as was shown v Whitehawk but we need more firepower up front and more composure from those experienced defenders.

If any player isn't performing to his full ability then give others a chance to shine and to prove themselves.

Maybe a permanant manager would bring more stability at the moment it just seems as if we are seeing the season out with our goalie picking the team. Willl half this team be here next year?? Do they really care no they will get paid til the end of the season, and there we go again starting from scratch trying to put another team together either give the job to craig and simon permanantly or get someone else in there is too much uncertainty.

Apart from some reservations about Dolby being a bit one footed I agree that he should be getting more play. Whitnell is not doing it for me at the moment , as Cookie says, he shows some nice touches sometimes but the end result is not there at the moment. Maybe we should try Dolby with Rook for a couple of games and see what happens ?

just good we had good start to the season or we would be in the s--t by now or very near it......don't think it's anything to do with change of manager, even when CK was there the last few games things were not that sound. Need goals is the issue feed back from other supporters about playing good football sounds positive just someone to get the dam ball in the net.....still time to turn things around but it's got to be sooner rather then later
