New Lodger
If the officials didn't get paid for a postponed fixture I'm sure they wouldn't find conditions so 'hazardous'
blue pilgrim
From the word "official" comes "officious" and don't some of them just love it !!! However, once in a while you get one with common sense - I can just about remember our last home fixture against Chelmo. The pitch was heavy and we lost a bank of floodlights, but the man in the middle played on. Can we request him for future home games lol !!!! Nitetime Neil
And Brentwood lost their "crunch derby game" at Maldon & Tiptree 5-1 last night ... ouch !
GazzaBTFC
It really comes down to the point I make... If you are responsible enough to make the decision then you should be accountable for it and face a forum to give a sensible reason why you made that decision. Unfortunately they pick up their fee and sneak out of the ground.
