18th-21st Midweek Games

We go on a run of 4 away games, starting at Horley on Saturday. Bonzo has the boys up for the challenge, and although the teams below us are all on a bit of a run, we remain positive and totally committed. Working with a bottomless pit, has not been easy for him, but i know that he and the players will be giving 110% till the end.....it's the Ash mentality .

I thought Staines Lammas started the game better and for the first 20 mins looked like they would go on and win the game but Southall were the better team over the 90 mins and deserved the win.

 

Out of interest anyone on here know who the little old man (Staines Lammas supporter) is ? he has some mouth on him he was standing in front of the club house in the second half i think he was wearing thick rose tinted glasses

Think I know the guy you are referring to. There was a guy giving the Frimley coaching staff a going over from the sidelines on Saturday, just a touch partisan! You can see him appear in the video at one point.

The little guy is Kieran, he is passionate to say the least, he used to be Chairman I believe and he's a qualified referee.

 

Nice fella really.

Kieran also has an illness which makes him this way too.

He was just one of thoses supporters where every Southall tackle was a foul and every Staines Lammas tackle was perfect.

 

I wont lie and say i wasnt more happey when Southall stuck the penalty away because of him it shut him up for a few seconds

Didn't think it was a pen Savage, did you? Challenge was outside the box and the ball was won. Like I said anyway Southall deserved it anyway but Shame it ended like that.

An offer was made and I accepted it as did another party and we were going to work together me being the assistant manager,we all know what happened next and for some reason the plans were scuppered,It doesn't change the way I feel about the club and I would dearly like to see them moving up the league,good luck to Paul and his management team they have been given another chance to try and turn things around I wish them well.

It all happend so fast and to be honest it was one of those that i have seen given and not given.

 

Southall will play Wealdstone Reserves, Bedfont Sports Reserves or Feltham in the final @North Greenford United FC 20/03/13.
