Shame it was Callum's first game too. But I think he enjoyed himself with his chips.

Not very good??!!!! Erm.... more like fcking s**t!!!!

So poor i even with draw the money from man of the match as i could not be asked to spend out £30.00 on a bunch of prats who cant do the following;

  • shoot
  • tackle
  • take a penalty
  • defend

Spend half the time arguing their case with the officals instead of getting on with the actual game.

Our strikers need to find their feet and put the ball in the back of the net and barge a few defenders out of the way in the process. Not trying to walk the ball into the blooming net incase they put a strand of their so gelled up hair out of place.

Defenders need to wake up and concentrate on the game and do what they are surposed to do.....Defend!!

Mid-field needs to pass the ball about more and try and be a bit more creative!

Does no one want to play football in the Conference South next season? Obviously not by this rate.

Get your god damn acts together and play football like we know you can!!!!!!!!!!

F****ing awful. I firmly believe this is the day we went down. Didn't agree with the formation of 4-3-3 because it left our midfield exposed. Wish Smith wouldn't just p*ss around and do a thousand tricks and lose the ball. The only positive was that Goodacre played brilliant as usual. He also is the only one who has a voice on the field and boll0cks the team.

Fuming, sort it out lads and have some desire

Some of these posts are a bit harsh. We could have got another draw, in fact it seemed again another match where we could have won, but more bad luck today. We had some good chances at the start to take the lead but are just not putting the ball in the net and taking the lead, which I have already written on here is vital as we need this for confidence. Another penalty decision against us and missing a penalty that seemed well taken, though a bit too late.

Our aim is to stay in the league and we have as good a chance as any of the teams around us to do that, look at how we beat Basingstoke and recently got a good result at Eastbourne. Consider Truro who have hardly any chance of staying up and look at our chances. We must believe we can win games and continue to support the team.

Annifer, you do know a certain player for the current Premiership leaders by 12 points can't do 3 of those? (And never could.)

Anyway, was shit. Gotta win our next 2. (Especially Staines which is a 6-pointer.)

Mate of course I want them to stay up but when they put crap performances like that its hard to defend them. I've watched the team nearly every game for the past 5 seasons and I'm entitled to my option. I put so much of my time into the club and I say it how I see it. I will always support the team with my vocals. They were shocking today

I'll be there Tuesday, will others be there

Yes, games in which we can redeem our current position are starting to run out. Being a fan especially in non league football is all about supporting your team in good times and during tough times. We enjoyed last season, this season as a lot of us thought is tough. We are all entitled to celebrate when winning and have a moan when loosing. But we all on this forum support the club.

Lets get behind the team for the remaining fixtures and hope our performances and luck improves.

Come on you Urchins……………

the last 2 home games were ones we really needed to take all 6 pts from , and to just collect 1pt just is nowhere near enough with the amount of games the others have in hand , and some of the lower placed teams staring to pick up some points now , it was really a 6 pointer against maidenhead today , now the games at home are starting to run out along with some very tough away games to come .. i hope not ...... but im not so sure about staying up now we have had the chances but just dont seem to take them i dont think for one minute that the players or the managment dont lack effort or are happy about the postion we are in but thats how it is .. :(

Today's performance was disappointing, there's not really any doubt about that.

As for people speaking their views, well if it's people being negative for the sake of it because they like to moan (and it has happened on this forum on the odd occasion), then I have no time for people like that. Today however was about a few stalwarts of the club getting frustrated and voicing their opinion. They are saying these thing because they care about the club and want us to stay up. Fair enough in my book.

I doubt that anyone will be hurting more over this result than Jimmy though.

If you are off your game just a little bit at this level, you will be punished. And that's what happened to us. Only having one recognised center half made a difference.

We've done remarkably well to get to this level. There were clearly teams in the Ryman Prem that had better budgets than us.

Starting on Tuesday, we need to get behind the team as much as possible and encourage them to put the performances in. We were never going to be able to compete with the likes of Welling and Salisbury in this league, they just have too many resources behind them. I still think we have enough to stay up though.

We need to move on from this game as quickly as possible.
