Also, with more rain forecast for tonight (Thursday), if played, will the pitch be cut up to such an extent that it will be ruined for Saturdays game? which after all is our top priority.

Unfortunately the league isn't even the League's priority. You know if it came to it they would have us postponing Saturday league games in favour of this hugely prestigious competition.

Apparently clear of snow this afternoon. Standing water more likely problem.

On the clubs web site and twitter this game is OFF tonight Thursday 14th.

 

Looks like it may be moved to next Tuesday

Just seen the picture on twitter, how did we not see this coming and just call it off earlier? I know we are desperately trying to get games on but surely that massive patch of standing water was obviously not going to go away in time. I'd already got the train to Slough before it was called off, so really not impressed.
