Subject to the weather, the Police visit Town on Tuesday for a 7.45 k.o.

Entry for Adults is JUST £5.

So no worries about the cost to get in and a good nght to bring all your family and freinds.

Let's have some good support and for this game ANY CHANCE OF SOME LOUD SUPPORT ????

Saturday was certainly NOT noisy in any way - even though the Drum was there.

Come on Towners - The team need your support.

Hopefully the match referee won't have a different opinion. No significant change in the weather is forecast but it's going to be a bit chilly. Ideally we'll score a couple of early goals allowing me to put the camera away and put gloves on. Feel free to use the word 'wimp' at this point.

All over them in the first few minutes, then a deserved 1 up, Gunz getting on the end of the umpteenth scramble in the Met box. Superb turn and shot by McGleish for the second. Understandabley they came back at us, but they were poor at finishing tonight. 2-0 at HT.

Second half MP were on the front foot again, but they never threatened much. Superb safe by Imber from a header, but that was about the only time he had to get his shirt dirty. 3-0 from a superb move down the left, cross by Jay? I think it was after some good work by Gunz, and a brave diving header by sub Bardle. Great celebrations in the goal mouth, Kirby showing his excellent aerial ability by landing on the pile of ET players in the six yard box. McGelish with a sore back and a slimmer frame ;-)

Tyler unlucky with a 35+ yard effort off the bar after the keeper scuffed a clearance from an Enfield through ball. Fourth a great cross by sub Jon Hunt from a free kick on the left to a sleeping MP defence, as McGleish ghosted in unmarked at the back post to head the ball past a helpless keeper. McGleish could have had his second Tuesday hat trick in a row after bamboozling two defenders (and himself), before trying to curl in a shot that was destined for the top right postage stamp only to be denied by a superb save.

Met showed very little really. No doubt they'll have an enquiry. We were rather clinical. All in all very pleased for all the team, everyone put in a shift. Especially plased for the keeper and the back 5 (Kendall replace Lockie after about 20 mins). White and Kirby looking very good at the back.

Big test on Saturday against two teams who have put 14 goals past the Cray defence in the past week. Odds on a 7-6 win for the Town?

Good summing up of the game. I thought we went to sleep between our second and third goals and Met Police could have nicked a couple had their shooting been on target. Good performance, three points and a clean sheet. Can't be bad. Better than watching Celtic.
