Bobuk/451 you are 2 big mouth clowns, who do not have a clue about Football.Firstly praise has to go to the Groundstaff at Croydon Arena, for getting on the only Midweek game in CCL.Secondly the Referee Mr Peter Conn had an outstanding game, firm, fair, consistent, and he was being assessed. To be honest the defending by both sides was woeful at times, when does a striker (Claudio de Almeida), score 4 times and end up on the losing side? Was a game totally played on the floor at a good pace, was a joy to watch, and a good advert for CCL .The Runcorn spy was totally impressed with what he saw from Guernsey going forward, fluidity, pace, and movement of the front 3.Shame all you posters sat in the warmth of your front rooms, watching the big boys, you missed a cracker.

over real madrid behave smudge ;)

i do think bob has a point he does get all the goals so you could say theyed struggle to score without him though theyd still be a top side beluieve me ive played against them

hes wasting his best years imo he should be testing himself higher can always play for guernsey cant always go higher or into league football the younger the better

Allen hat trick against Spalding I believe again it was the differance, Let's wait and see when he misses a few games in a row

No he got two goals, Matt Loaring scored the second.

Yes Ross does score the majority of the goals, but then so do a lot of teams, they have one player at who is the pinpoint of their play and the team work to give him the chances.

Man U - RVP

Liverpool - Suarez

Real Madrid - Ronaldo

Barcelona - Messi

Chelsea - Torres (joke!)

For Ross Allen to score as many goals as he does clearly needs the rest of the team to create the chances in the first place.

Guernsey are definitely not a one man team! From what I saw on a rather start/stop live stream last night, I have the same impression of Guernsey as I formed on the first day of the season - great going forward, but not the securest of defences.

As for Croydon, we have played much better this season than we have shown in the 2 games with Guernsey. We seem to have just gone off the boil a bit at the moment.

As tony Vance tweeted last night back at the hotel another victory for Guernsey but he was of to bed to dream of a 1-0

We need to defend far better we can not keep trying to score one more than you, or we will come unstuck against teams that defend well and counter attack as per Camberly game.

well done to the Croydon ground staff the pitch was great

Although I didn't see last night's game, if I was scouting Guernsey I'd be taking much more notice of how many goals were let in during the second half alone against a team that have clearly lost a bit of belief in recent weeks but still had enough about them to fight back from an unwinnable position. I'm not surprised your Manager is dreaming of a 1-0 win. Croydon should take a lot out of that fightback too and realise that they are not a bad side actually.

If you get promotion, this will severely test you next season as you won't be able to score six or seven each week. I suppose it's entertaining in the meantime though!

I would imagine IF we secure promotion then we would play a slightly more defensive game.

Exactly, we also have lost 5 midfielders (Black, Mackay, Winch, Coulter and Jordan) this season and still seem to be quite strong.

It was a shame the feed was so poor, I can only guess there was a problem in getting a decent 3g signal in the area.

I had no problem with the stream last night. Although we did get that superfast broadband a few weeks back.
