bomaya
By the accounts I've read so far, it sounds like Guernsey got a fully deserved win today at one of the favourites, Spalding, in the Fifth Round of the Vase. I was at Tunbridge Wells today who beat last year's winners Dunston but I don't think Guernsey would have any problems with them if they drew them next. This was a Fourth Round game though. padlock
Yes well done green lions. Must say very surprised Tun Wells beat Dunston Bommie.
JohnM-Redrock
Only watched the game in the Crown on GFCTV but even with my bias I thought GFC thorughly deserved the win. One more step closer to having a drink on Kilburn High Road before moving up the road to the 'Twin Towers' (arch thingy!!!)

Tunbridge Wells are away now to Larkhall Athletic of the Western League whilst the winners of Wallsall Wood/Hanworth Villa will play Runcorn Town away. Be interesting to see the draw which I assume is Monday?

Smudge
Congratulations to all at Guernsey FC,on their emphatic win at Spalding Town FC yesterday.Lets hope the FA GIVE THEM A HOME TIE IN THE 6TH ROUND.because of 2 reasons it must of cost them an arm and Leg financially to get this far, with only 1 home tie.Could be a crowd of 3000 plus at Footes Lane, and any guernsey side that has played in the Vase at home, has never lost.I LOVE THE GREEN LIONS. Big J R
My congratulations to Guernsey, but as was discussed with HW officials at Meadowbank yesterday............ "YET ANOTHER GAME TO BE FITTED INTO AN ALREADY TIGHT SCHEDULE."
HKP
Unfortunately I can only the only way all the home matches will be played in Guernsey is to start playing midweek. Not ideal, not going to be popular but sadly that is the reality.
