I'm in for 10 Mark. I hope to be at the game Saturday (dependant if I can get a place on Saturdays coach) so I can give you the cash then. If not, would you like a cheque via post?

I have this afternoon been requested by MISA to state that in the first week of the closed season, MISA will be starting repairs to the most damaged areas of the pitch. Said areas will be dug out down to the chalk and then reinstated with new drainage, top soil and turf. There will be more info nearer the time, and can only imagine that there will be an appeal for works assistance from supporters at that time. - MISA.

 

P.S. to Mark - Put me down for a tenner in the meantime please.

What shall we do we have money/pledges for a total of £240, I think we are about £110 short, Shall I give money back and tell Graham we have been unable to raise the money or shall we keep with it for another 24/48 hrs? Shame because as its been snowing again the ground will need this contraption i'm sure...

There is another consideration here Mark - VAT - if the hire is liable to it then the club is the best ones to have the money so they can reclaim the VAT as KP told me yesterday that they are registered. I'm happy to put in another tenner if required

Absolutely the club can hire it, but consider the Club need the money first to hire, claiming back VAT is often a paperwork exercise at end of each quarter. And I would hope they would be able to negotiate a better hire deal with their contacts.
