Whos Your Teams Local Rivals ?

Recommended Posts

Who would you consider to be your teams local rivals ?

For me it would be Harefield United FC, London Tigers FC and Oxhey Jets FC.

I go and support Southall FC when i can so i dont consider them as local rivals even though they groundshare with us.

Dont know why i dont consider Hillingdon Borough FC as local rivals maybe its because i really like the club and the people.

North Greenford United FC are in the league above and ive never seen us play them before so i dont consider them as local rivals.

When I played for Bovingdon in Herts County League used to love the games against Chipperfield. They had a real derby atmosphere.

Bovingdons one of my all time favourite clubs. Lovely people , great club, Tony Hudson one of the finest men in non league football! I see a few of them chipperfield bovi derby games many years ago with the whetton brothers, darren locke and co were there. Real fiesty affairs!

Bovi had a real nice footballing side then actually

Yep played with the Whettons. Good side when Paul Hobbs was there the first time. League was tough with sun, Oxhey, London lions. Think we finished 3rd or 4th.

Lovely club and set up. Shame they will probably never get lights due to residents.

Paul Hobbs? Little fella from Sheffield? If so he was with us later in his career.

Not the same one. This one is local to watford/Hemel area. Played for berko, aylesbury (one of the ducks against QPR I believe) and most other local sides. Managed Bovingdon and Kings Langley until last season.

Talking of Buckingham Town...where are they now? Dad said they used to be a big club with a 'lovely little ground'

and Savagebee- the nawell/oxhey derby will be even better this year- huge game

Had been playing on old school pitch at Winslow centre now currently at Manor Fields old MK Borough and more recently Bletchley ground.

in terms of rivalry, Aylesbury vs. St Mags was lively at the November cup game I was lucky enough to attend.

Most of it was St Mags benches, but regardless- a really 'scrappy' derby game

Neutral - you love St Mags don't you!? haha
