bobuk
Very clever from Epsom getting there game on tonight this no doubt will put Eghams game in doubt on Saturday meaning Epsom will be top for a week. Can't see no other result other than an Epsom win if they don't win it will be curtains for them so there is massive pressure on them

Dessie
Very clever from Epsom getting there game on tonight this no doubt will put Eghams game in doubt on Saturday meaning Epsom will be top for a week. Can't see no other result other than an Epsom win if they don't win it will be curtains for them so there is massive pressure on them Epsom were in the bottom 6 for most of last season with most of the current squad,so Im not sure if theres "Massive pressure" on them to win anything, but it would be nice, the unbeaten run is currently now at 10 games and there last defeat was at home against you've guessed it,Chessington & Hook(squeaky bum time?) E&E Rich
Smudge is correct, but it doesn't really tell the story as we went 3-0 up after 86 minutes! It certainly helped that they missed a penalty midway through the second half, but it was a typical Chessington v Epsom game with us having most of the possession but vulnerable to a quick counter and a long ball. Their "equaliser" was offside but when it went in, I nearly laid a brick at the other end! Considering the conditions which were obviously very heavy, we did play some good stuff at times. We have ridden our luck a little recently but we have deserved to win the games and a sign of a good team is being able to pinch a win when we haven't been at our best. We now get a nine day rest before meeting Horley Town at Chipstead. To correct Dessie slightly we have now won 10 League games in a row as opposed to ten games. It is eleven wins in a row against Step Five teams as we also beat Guernsey in the League Cup, We have won our last seven in all comps but Leatherhead beat us in December in a Surrey Cup tie to break the run. It is still a perfect 2013 though and we had the added benefit last night of messing the pitch up so there's no way Egham will get to play on it this Saturday Maybe we will be top for longer than we first thought! And yes, full credit goes to the clubs for thinking ahead to get the game rescheduled. I've been asking for us to think like that for a while, and it is now one less game we will have to play at the end of the season as a result. E&E Rich
I should clarify. It was offside because the Assistant said it was. I didn't have a clue, hence the brick
Smudge
Nice to see you in a very Bubbly Mood Fred.Top of the League syndrome kicked in?So you are now a believer,of Assistants remarks, only need to convert Carthorse now that an Assistant never makes a mistake.and we will have arrived in Utopia. Was this said before or after you bought him a Pint.?Thanks lino for that very honest decision,I thought you were correct, from my viewpoint 100 yds away, would you like another.I suppose you asked him about the Penalty decision also? E&E Rich
Actually, I didn't stick around to ask anyone anything. From where I was the two penalties looked justified and no one particularly queried the offside. Usually from players reactions you can get a pretty good idea, but as I say, from where I was, I could hardly question any of them. As it happens though, I'm not in a bubbly mood at all. On the field things are fantastic, and I've spent a lot of the day working out which club records we've broken and which ones are in reach. However, off the field we have some real concerns and no one else at the club actually knows how concerning they are just yet but will do shortly. I am very much enjoying the run while it lasts though and our players and Management are really working hard to achieve something this season which as a supporter is all you can ask for.
