aupostie
As some may have seen on another thread, Ash United first team manager PAUL BONNER resigned after last nights game A full statement will be released by the club later but on a personally note I just wanted to THANK Bonzo for all the effort & commitment that he gave the club as loyal player & manager. The club wont be the same without him I've seen bonzo from a young reserve player to be one of the best fullbacks in the club history & in the CCL & then manager which was a hard job to take in the situation the club finds itself in at the moment. I know he gave it 100% & more When i get the full club statement i will place it up on here
Red Spot
Statement from our Chairman Dear All Today, Wednesday 6th February 2013 is a very sad day for those associated with Ash Football Club due to the resignation of our first team manager Mr Paul Bonner. Paul has been a valued member of our local football community. This, coupled with his club and committee commitments means he will be greatly missed. Paul has been associated with Ash Football Club for many years as a player and more recently as our first team manager. Ash has been a part of Paul’s daily life for sometime now which I’m sure he will surely miss and those of you involved in football at any level will clearly be able to understand. The current climate has placed huge financial restrictions on the running of any team which in turn has left Paul with the thankless task of managing our senior football team with a budget of pennies rather than pounds. During this current season Paul has managed to build a team that we have become proud of even though the performance has been somewhat up and down. When someone like Paul has been associated with a club for the length of time that he has, they become part of the fixture and fittings which are needed for the structure to survive, so when a part is removed it leaves a gapping whole which isn’t always easy to replace. I would personally like to take this opportunity to thank Paul for all the assistance that he has given me during my short time at the club, also I feel sure that I speak on behalf of those involved in football, especially at step five, in thanking Paul for all the great memories that he has given us and to wish Paul and his family every happiness and success for the future. During the next week or so the committee will be meeting to consider it’s options with regard to replacing Paul. The clubs reserve team manager Mr Tony Kingsbury will be caretaking our first team in the interim with immediate effect. With Sincere Thanks Mr Kevin Josey Club Chairman

BAD GUY
Hearing rumours he's gone back ? Tommo, if thats the case, it was probably a knee-jerk reaction from Paul after losing to the bottom club Hartley Wintney on Tuesday who have now done the double over Ash ? Lasy nail in the coffin so to speak ?
