Westfield 0-2 Staines Lammas

Unbeaten home record home.

Tight first half but Lammas got all important first goal, added a 2nd. We responded but keeper made 2 worldies. Didn't play well today but Lammas were excellent and fully deserved the points. See you Tuesday in the cup

SPFC 4 vs 2 RPV

Good win for us today as we try and chase down the leading pack. 2 goals from Lavery, 1 from myself and a rare goal from o'sullivan secured the points.

We played some good football first half and deserved to be 2-1 up if not even more. Second half different story. RPV came at us and got and equaliser but Lavery scored two goals to out the game to bed.

Special mention to milesy who was a rock for us 2nd half and put in some great blocks to secure the win.

8 games in beaten now so looking good. Think this is going down to the wire this season.

AFC Croydon 0-1 Feltham FC

Another great performance against one of the in form teams. This game was more like a cup final with both teams going at each other. A quick break on 30 mins down the right hand side from S Williams who found R Curtis in the box who laid a nice ball on a plate for Ayoub to slot home from 10 yards out was enough to take all 3pts home. Croydon should have equalised soon after had it not been from Man of the Match Thomas in goal for Feltham to stop the Croydon number 10 from point blank range when it looked like he couldnt miss. 2 mins later a defensive mix up led to a Croydon corner which Feltham failed to clear and a rash challenge in the box by Curtis led to a penalty being awarded, Curtis also picking up a yellow card. The Croydon number 10 stepped up and sent the ball to Thomas' left but it was Thomas who would have the last laugh with a fine save from a not so well taken penalty.

HT 0-1.

The 2nd half Croydon sent 3 forwards up but failed to convert a few chances. The game continued to swing both ways with both teams having some fine chances. It looked as though Feltham would have made it 2-0 when the ball fell to Molloy with 1 min left on the clock and only the keeper to beat but it was a fine save from the Croydon number 1.

Full time AFC CRoydon 0-1 Feltham FC. A great hard fought win.

Man of the match Tristan Thomas, 1 great save and a penalty save, great day at the office

Up next away to Banstead next Saturday 16th 3pm kick off

They got just 392.

there was not a seat on any plane out of guernsey hence team and supporters travelled by boat friday and coach, stayed in London overnight up at 4:45am this morning and coached up to Spalding, groups uk fans drove, and trained it up for the game, there was probably as many Green Lions fans as Spalding fans.

if they expected 750 the local town failed to turn up!!!!!!!!!!

Does that mean E&E made the right decision to ban GTV and Spalding would have got twice as big a gate if they had also banned GTV?

It's impossible to say unless someone puts their hand up and says they would have gone to the game if they couldn't watch it on their pc.

If having the game live puts just one person off going to the match then the home team will have made the right decision in not allowing the cameras there. They won't gain anything by allowing the match to be streamed live, they can only lose.

As I've said, if Guernsey want to stream their home matches then fine but don't expect to be able to show away matches unless GFCTV are willing to stump up a few hundred quid. In the case of the Vase final if they get there they must be willing to stump up a few tens of thousands.

Lots of goals at Worcester park. 4 4. We were 2 1 up at ht going downhill with goals from baker and William and looking ok. Second half credit to park as they battered us for 25 mins and got 4 2 up. Baker got one back with 10 mins to go and them centre half blockham grabbed and last min leveller .

Strange moment in the game. Worcester park free kick 40 yards out. The player takes the free kick before the whisle is blown to go ahead. Everyone stops and centre half cathces in the box to retake the kick. Ref then gives park a penalty for handball as he had his back to the free kick and wasn't aware it was taken early. After a long time and alot of talking the lineman confirmed to the ref what had happen and we free kick was retaken. It was cleared when smashed in from 20 yards.

Westfield 0-2 Lammas

Matt Baxter (2) Lammas dominant. Staines could be a dark horse.

Little bit off the pace for this season, 15 points gap between them and third place, but next season they may challenge.

If E+E decided it was the right decision for their club then it was right. Just leave it now and move on.
