Really proud of our performance tonight, and an excellent point. It might be a stretch to say we should have won it, but we had the better of it, and they only scored from the dodgiest of dodgy penalties.

Out of the drop zone now, and if we perform to anything like that standard for the rest of our games there's little doubt we will be in this league. In fact, like TC, I'm still confident of a top half finish.

Well done boys, more of the same on Saturday please

A fine and well deserved point tonight. No question we were the better side over the 90 and they had to rely on the ref to bail them out with a moody penalty.

Fantastic work- rate from the whole team and if we can keep that up I'm confident we can do enough to stay in this league.

Well done lads! COYB!!

Stirling effort by the Blues tonight. Chelmo were second best and for the last 20 mins looked clueless and almost disinterested. Personally I think we did do enough to win it, and came pretty close on several occasions. But it's a good away point to add to the three from Truro.

Well done to all concerned.

Great effort from the players, always a dodgy one after a long break off, but they looked up for it. They have set the standard now for the rest of the season!

If we had won the game no one could of complained albeit they had a couple of chance to win it as well. Great work from the back 5 in the first ten minutes because we was penned in, but from then on we got a grip of the game.

Tough to call a MOM, but for me Paul rodgers, kept cook quiet all night with a booking and threw himself on the line to block a certain goal!

Also a Mind boggling situation arose tonight. Local derby, neutral ref from Braintree, yet the last two weekends we've had refs coming for leicester and Nottingham I believe, strange but true! They would seem to be more neutral to me, although i thought he had an average performance tonight

100% clown i never moan about ref's but this lemon was a complete joker.

Hopefully the highlights will confirm my thoughts about this total melt.

On tonights effort absolutely outstanding thought the cart horses at the back totally dominated the quick and pacey free flowing(sic) Chelmsford fowards .

Had a dodgy 20 mins at the start but got better and better how we did not come away with 3 points from tonight's effort is unbelievable.

Well done to the Chelmsford keeper rushed in today who was man of the match without him they would have lost.

Well done fella's more of the same this weekend :top:

In the world of pantomime, last nights entertainment was classic. The home team providing the role of villains with their incessant going down on the ground (I wonder if they practice that after training on each other?). The role of pantomime donkey was ably filled by the official in the middle. Once again I walk away from a game wondering if there is a remit and rule for established clubs and another for new boys in the minds of these people.

The Hero's of the piece was The Mighty Blues. For 75 minutes they played a entertaining style of football which restricted the home side to counter attacks into our half. The only time they came to use their guile and style when the box is packed was just before they equalised to buy the penalty.

The "donkey" took the offer and we paid the price.

But if you had told me we would have a draw before the game I would've bitten your hand off.

We were the better team and undoubtably another entertaining game from The Blues.

Well done lads

A fantastic performance considering that we haven't played for 3 weeks. We had the guts for the fight, wanted to win more than them and had the better chances. I don't recall Sam having to make a save?

Loved the balance of the team. The defence was strong and I really like that our 2 full backs look so dangerous going forwards. We had pace, legs and skill in midfield and I thought the return of Osborn up front to partner Jay added a real threat in the final third. How the referee and linesman never gave a penalty for the trip on him in the 2nd half is beyond me.

If we take that effort, commitment and skill into the next few weeks then I'm sure we will see us going up the table.

Great performance all around from Players to supporters.

We bossed them in the Pub.

We bossed them in the ground

Out sang them

Out played them

And if it were not for the corrupt turd in the middle of the park would have out pointed them on the night.

They come on our forum and tell us how lucky we are to be in this league. We showed them from every quarter that we are a Better, Stronger, more united club then they can ever be. Yeah they are well up the table but £ for £ budget wise we would wipe the floor with them.

Same old clarets so far up their own arse it's a joke.

We got into them & [****!!****]ed them up FACT

Come on you Blue Beauties

Chill, Winston.

Sure, you outplayed us and credit to you for it. I still don't know how we got out of the game with a point, so you must be regretting that missed opportunity. We simply never got going and the thing that frustrates me more than anything is that we knew exactly what was heading our way but did nothing to counter it.

Well done to your players, well done to your management team but very disappointed in your support - again. It's only ten miles down the road yet you can only muster around 100 travelling fans. We give you your annual bonanza when we take two thirds of our support to NL but you can only bring a fifth of your own home crowd to MP - very mean-spirited I must say.

By the way, love the "We bossed them in the Pub" comment, very Seventies. What exactly did you boss? The number of shandies ordered at the bar?

Nice try Charlie. A Cardboard trait is to obsess about other clubs followings. I'd be more concerned about your own falling crowds, less than a thousand last night, than the 250 we took.

Still cant believe we didn't win last night but more of the same and we'll be fine. With the exception of the 2nd half at New Lodge we've been better than them over the two games. Not bad for a side of carthorses.

Charlie I do hope we stay up by one point and you miss out the play offs by 4. That would make season, you make out your the non league Barcelona but infact you are the non league arsenal....your season will be over come march!

We will see you next season and you can moan about how rubbish we are again, for now focus on stopping your team choking by march!
