Maidenhead Utd v Billericay Town

Recommended Posts

For those of you travelling up to York Road, Maidenhead on Saturday, if you have time before the match you might be interested in visiting a exhibition on the history of Maidenhead United FC at the nearby Maidenhead Heritage Centre. Admission is free of charge.

The exhibition tracks the club’s history since 1870 and will include: The original Berks & Bucks Cup (dating back to 1878), two Berks & Bucks Cup winners medals (1895, 1986) of J. Wilkins, a selection of programmes, minute books, the 125th anniversary decanter, the 100th FA Anniversary letter opener, some old season tickets, and other memorabilia.

The Maidenhead Heritage Centre is only about 50 yards from the football ground and is situated at 18 Park Street, Maidenhead, SL6 1SL. Just turn down the street by the Anchor pub (on the corner of York Road and Park Street) and it is the next building along.
