"Provisional" EFM Booze Train Times To Bognor

Recommended Posts

Nothing's been planned exactly yet, and Pete's talking about going via Brighton, but this is the 'quickest' route to Bognor on November 15th...

09.14 - St Albans - West Hampstead

09.53 - West Hampstead - Willesden Jn. High Level

10.08 - Willesden Jn. - Clapham Junction

10.38 - Clapham Junction - Barnham

12.11 - Barnham - Bognor Regis

12.17 - Arrive in Bognor

As I say, that's the quickest route, and may appeal to Thornsy as there's a couple of Silverlink trains in there, but there is a more direct route with only two changes, as opposed to five, which goes via Victoria.

What are everyone else's views?

Also, going via Brighton adds an extra hour onto the journey. I think that's a no-no.

I spend every bloody day in Willesden, I'm actually here now - It ain't great!

The train via Victoria is the one that we'd pick up at Clapham Junction anyway. Remember the cross london route is closed at weekends now so any trip would involve getting the tube at Kentish Town and making a couple of changes for Victoria, I can confirm the Silverlink way from West Hampstead - Clapham is very quick and easy.

I should imagine Pete is thinking direct train to Brighton is nice and simple, see above text about engineering work.

We'd have to catch the Bognor branch line at Barnham whatever way we went.

I say the above is a go go!

What about everyone who wants to go drinking in Brighton afterwards.

Your missing the point and trying to turn this trip into a geeky non-league day which no one apart from hard core city fans would be interested in.

We need to go to Brighton on the way back .

You cant get on the Northern line from kentish town something which i will have to deal tomorrow morning.

Trev and Lib look forward to seeing you again.
