Ryan.c
With one home game in 12 weeks it doesn't take an accountant to work out that financially that must hurt. Can we get a 600+ crowd for Saturday? If we all spread the word and encourage others to get down to New Lodge on Saturday, I'm sure we'll be alot better off for it. After Saturday, we're away for the next two weeks! You social media types get tweeting, facebooking or whatever it these days to get the word round. It might not make a jot of difference but then again if it did.... Clubhouse opens at 12 noon with QPR v Norwich live on the box.
rich the pipe
I've a few hours to spare, is there anything I can do to help get this game on?
Rich.m
I hope our new signing Sandy Pitt holds the water up well an we can get a game on tomorrow looking very doubtful I would think!
richards
Any idea when a pitch inspection is planned ? Like Rich.m at present I think it is pretty unlikely that things will have dried out after last night/early morning deluge. Really not looking forward to yet another weekend without football even though there is some rugby on.
Ryan.c
The areas that the refs will make a bee-line for were covered last night so were protected from this mornings rain. Rest of pitch should be ok. Just my opinion but with dry weather now set in, don't write it off just yet.
GazzaBTFC
Dry weather where? Some parts of Africa are dry... I don't think that people are writing us off, they're being realistic and asking if there is a pitch inspection by an independent ref before the match, when will it be? I think that we still have to do the right thing and have one no matter how virtual they appear to the BBB match ref.
Rich.m
If there covered that's a good start just hope we have a sensible ref who's not travelling from to far away.
