Can understand thier frustration, I know how I would feel, however they were not aware of the full details of the inspection and the lack of deteriation of playing surface since the earlier inspection to the refs opinion of the pitch and the fact that the minimal amount of rain that we did have did not commence until about the time of his arrival

Sorry about the lack of punctuation but ive had a beer

The website point is a valid one tho.

Yeah, sorry about the website. I don't always have time to actively monitor Twitter or the forum when I'm not at the game. In future, if someone can drop me a text with any urgent news, I should be able to post it promptly. People have my number. Ta.

I don't understand the away fans point about the web-site. I think the Tweet saying the game was off came through around 6:30(?) and by then they'd have been well on their way, not sat at home checking our web-site. Any one with mobile internet (ie.. on their coach) should really have the nouse to realise that Twitter is always going to be the most immidiate source of information at short notice. If I was considering a long journey to a midweek game after the recent weather the first thing I'd do is hunt down and subscribe to the oppo's official Twitter feed.

Having said that, a web site update would probably have been of use to home fans. Maybe a "Widget" just displaying the latest @BTFC Tweets on the official web-site would be helpful?

Nothing wrong with saga people cos I aint far behind ya!

I am a bit worried about the mental stabilty of their supporters. Barry Carpenter wrote on Twitter:

@BTFC is that why we had to travel from Eastbourne on Tuesday because you're skint and needed the gate money #2.30PitchInspectionMyArse

and

@rowjoelane @btfc Let's be fair the game was never going to be on and not financially buoyant but professionally run #BTFCbollocks

They had 16 supporters on their supporters coach!

I had come to the same conclusion! I've just added an @btfc Twitter widget to the homepage (I need to redo the BTFC banner at the top, 'cos I had to make the site slightly wider to fit the Twitter widget in).

We had an Olympian game played on our pitch,we are available for pitch hire if needed!!!

Proper club,as per your twitter message Mr Kent lol

Careful Eastside - I know one of those who officiated at that game and he was less than impressed with your playing surface. I think it is a lottery which official you get and what his interpretation/decision is.

Nothing wrong with our playing surface, not the best, granted but good enough for a couple of games of football a week.

If he wants a better surface, then he should probably officiate much higher, anyway, tell him that all the officials were p1ss poor (and that is a bite lol)
