Surely someone has to reimburse the clubs for this then?

Shame the's not a track record kept for Ref's just so as the public can see how inept some of them are.

If the officials are responsible enough to make decisions then they should be made accountable as well... Instead of creeping from the grounds of a club, grasping the fee the 10 minutes or less it took to decide 'match off'.

But accountability suffers the same fate as common sense in this world, especially when you look at the various governing bodies that are responsible for the fast fraying cloth of respectability that used to be attached to our "beautiful game". Those that run these establishments and bodies love the responsibility that the job brings but are rarely accountable for the frankly, unfathomable decisions they make...

And it runs right through from the top to the idiots that are given the whistle to officiate 90 minutes of what should be entertainment.

Point to note. Anyone wanting to know how serious a group of match officials are of deciding if the game should play, look at the shoes...

5. If the ground is declared fit and the away club travel to the venue, then only in exceptional

circumstances should the match Referee reverse the decision.

So what were the exceptional circumstances that justified the reversal of the earlier decision?
