Dagger03
I am somewhat puzzled by this, as the player had already played for other league clubs in England. So I would have expected the league clubs in question to have already obtained international clearance - unless, because he had not played in the first team(s) of those clubs, they did not need to get international clearance. The requirement to obtain international clearance is arguably understandable, although it seems ridiculous that if a player played for a Welsh or Scottish club then they also require international clearance. Yet the Wales / England requirement does not apply to clubs who are close to the border of those countries. Incidentally the player in question did not play for Farnborough against Hornchurch in September.
