Milton Keynes College Posted January 29, 2013 Share Posted January 29, 2013 Good Afternoon, I am posting with regards to an exciting academic course linked in to football we are running here at Milton Keynes College September 2013 start. It is designed for all those players not only interested in football but wish to progress and develop both academically and as a footballer. The Qualification is a BTEC level 3 worth 3 A-Levels, this is combined with a structured football programme, where upon players train 4 times per week including gym based and recovery sessions. We play twice a week and are based within a national league in which we run two teams. As we are restricted to week days, this would not affect their playing commitments to your club. Our current successes have been: 2 England College Representatives Players having 1st team appearances at Bedford Town, Leighton Town, Corby Town and a Norwich U18 trial, MK Dons U18 trial. 1 University Scholarship National Futsal Runners up Elite National League Runners up Elite National Cup Quarter Finalists Currently we have fixtures lined up against James Madjeski Academy, Watford, and Football Academy Bisham where potential scouts are coming to take a closer look at our players with regards to progression routes into professional football. The course is aimed at school leavers and those under 19 years of age, I have attached some information and would really appreciate it if you could distribute to your players.
