staines_rebel_Jr
Only 2 games were played Chertsey 1-0 Godalming Guildford 4-1 Fleet Godalming lost and therefore will never win the league =]
Irishadrian
Have to agree with you We are once again the team who has lost fewer ponts than anyone else even with the games we have to catch up we must be favourites again for automatic promotion Our squad is huge and so long as it is used intelligently we can avoid the nonsense of play-offs again

I would put Godalming, Rugby and Biggleswade above us in the favourites stakes.

BTH Biggleswade at 7-1 what a cracking bet!
Irishadrian
reading rebel Ill tell you why I dont agree Last season when we led the league by a street that was what Bateman said "we have the ponts lets see if they can catch up" well St Neots relentless pulled us back When they wobbled they brought in one exceptional player and the rest is history why cant we do that? St Neots struck lucky with the right player, doesn't happen very often, so odds against it happening again. Ask any manager and they would take the points in the bag at this stage of the season. Sir Rebel1965
Based on anverage (mean) points per game achieved so far (form?) then multiplied out for the season (42 games) the extrapolation gives you Slough ending up 5th: 94.95652 Godalming Town 93.54545 Biggleswade Town 93.13043 Burnham 93.13043 Rugby Town 88.66667 Slough Town 84 Royston Town But what it does show is how tight it is between the teams and it is still very much up for grabs from anyone of these six teams. BFR
It also doesn't show that we have to play more than half our league season in a very compact three month period. With potentially another 4 league cup matches to squeeze in
PremiershipJoyRider
Cracking post from Clive T for the use of the use of the word "extrapolation" which I must confess I had to look up in the dictionary !!!!
