Enfield Town v Bognor Regis Town - Game on

Ok I'll make the first comment. We were thrashed 1:0. Bognor now stand third in the table so we cannot be too surprised by the result. Bognor have certainly improved since we met earlier in the season.

What wss disappointing is that we did not seem to have s game plsn. I repeat that I don't think Scott snd Liam should play together. Liam played deep yesterday but cannot be considered a stopper in midfield. Scott snd Guns were left trying to bresk down s well marshaled defence.

Tyler's limitations were cruelly exposed. We rarely looked like scoring.

Offside or not?

Have played around with the pause button, and have concluded that it was too close to call. Probably level with Kirbs, but impossible to be certain from that angle

Lee White has his head down and did not join in the protests from memory. It is my view that he played the player onside looking at the distance he is standing from the goal line and goal area line. The player when the ball is kicked is between Kirby and the goal line.

I have freeze framed it and def on/level in my opinion.... report and more highlights soon on TCE

Have to say Bognor were one of the best sides I have seen play us this year. Organised well, passed and kept the ball well... decent side.

MMMM it is tight but feel his left leg and arm are in an offside positions Grandstand filming sides with it being offside. Nonetheless Bognor deserved that piece of fortune to roll for them, thus saving them from frustration by not converting other clear opportunities.

The ball rolled in their favour on this one unlike the way the ball did'nt for us at their place when the game finished 0-0.

Thurrock is a big game next week as it's the teams around us we need to beat and any points from the Top 6-7 clubs is a bonus.

Steph-Disagree that the team has no game plan. I believe we do, however the problem is playing or accomodating players out of position does not always work, therefore Hopey has to be up front or on the bench in my view. I think Scott and Liam can be a duel strike force with Gunz and Campbell playing wide in a 4-4-2 rather than a 4-3-3. Ho Hum roll on next week, I still have faith.

A decent crowd yesterday, biggest of the season, which is good.
