Great strike from Greggors...and plenty of other opportunities. Excellent all round team performance, especially second half. V difficult to name a MotM...but it sure wasn't the boy Skinner! <p>Still plenty of points to be played for....but the pendulum points to yellow more than red now.

3 points behind, game in hand - it's not over yet.<p>As for tonight - certainly not a classic game - Canvey done enough & deserved to win, but we were very poor. Mind you, if we had taken one of those chances in the cross/shot/next shot hit bar/next shot over, we would have at least got the draw.<p>I thought the ref could have done better, almost as bad as the usual Ryman refs!<p>Anyway, don't count your chickens just yet!

Right-99pts won it last year, Canvey now on 88 1 away from last seasons total, so it seems they are going to surpass last seasons total and you would have though that would have been enough, however Gravesend can still match Canveys pts total however they are well behind on GD, I would not be suprised to see both teams drop at least a couple ore pts yet but I rekon it'll still take over 100 pts to secure the Championship.

The Gravesend/Purfleet fixture seems to be one of the key games now.

All I can say is totally fantastic. Not a classic but we deserved to win. The entire defence was superb tonight. Gravesend rarely got into our penalty area. Fantastic goal from Gregorrs.

Great following from Canvey totally outsung the pathetic support from gravesend.

You deserved your win tonight. We were bad though. I thought that we could win every game after we beat Grays but not playing like that. It's in your hands now. Well Daz my old chum last night was the fourth time I've watched G&N this season and (apart from the Park Lane game) you've not been too impressive at all. Had Grays had a bit more belief last Saturday and not gone down to 10 men in the second half, I think you would have come second in that one too.<p>Still plenty of time for things to change.

Well I had a great time at the game, I would have to say of all the times I have seen Gravesend play this was one of their better performances. I didnt think the ref was that bad (excluding the blatant penalty Canvey should have had) his decisions were that bad. Both teams put on a good show and the better team won. I hope this shows that when Gravesend played at park lane (a performance that was much worse than yesterday) they went playing the Canvey that the fans have come to know and love<p>Well done boys, you done us all proud!
