michael
Similarly welcome this. Always felt we needed 'one more' and a bit of extra quality in central midfield. That given-i have no idea of the quality of Jermaine Brown these days-but brings experience,so really good imo. games are won in midfield-control midfield and you usually win the game. Much as i love CK to bits- the one mild critique i would lay was his reluctance to freshen things up in second half of season to add the extra stimulus. Never advocated wholesale change but always felt sides going forward needed the addition of one or two players during the season just to add a bit of extra momentum-and CH seems to have/be doing this. Cookie
Isn't Brown the chap that was similar in looks to Baptiste or am I talking of a different player?. If it is he then I thought at the time he had some good skills and I was sorry to see him go.
Coffin Ender
Had a funny old career though. Wiki has 29 appearances listed since 2003.

BlueGate Alan
I believe he took time off from football for about 5 years, not sure why though.
BlueGate Alan
Born in Lambeth, Brown spent his career with Arsenal, before spending short spells with Colchester United and Boston United. In April 2004, Brown was due to join King's Lynn on loan from Boston, but was granted compassionate leave after his father became ill.He "went AWOL" a few days later. He later played non-league football with Lewes, Margate and Aldershot Town. After a break from the game, he signed for Chelmsford City on 1 August 2011. JRC
It's always nice to see the club bring in players but why we not using same of the reserves players aswell... Must be cheaper??? Is there any info about new sponsors for te club??
Dutch_Mike
But how many reserve players have made the step up in previous seasons, and actually proved their worth at the Ryman level? Very few, if any. The reality of it is: as soon as they come up against bruising Ryman League players, they soon drift out of games
JRC
I see what your saying but till give them a go an see what there like, we will never know....
