Not sure where u r coming from jr ! Ground status is of a ryman standard and we r tying to go up ! So why iam giving large ?

 

I wasn't referring to Redhill in that statement at all !

 

I was picking up on your (incorrect) comment regarding the difference between Dorking FC and Dorking Wanderers.

Just scanned over this and it does seem that Markie seems to know a lot more about Redhill FC and their players than a bloke who just went to watch them once in November as he started off?!

 

I remember playing against Redhill at Youth level many many years ago (Ironically for Whyteleafe) and thought of them then as a decent set up and one of the biggest clubs in the area, they have definitely fallen backwards in the last 20 years or so.

 

What does it matter incidentally whether a club is situated in a village, town or city, by the logic of Markie I think Charlton Athletic are a village club. If the likes of Whyteleafe, South Park, Dorking etc are just 'village clubs' and Redhill are the big town club then it makes their failure seem even worse in comparison to the massive success of these tiny clubs. Very odd stance to take on the situation whilst clearly looking for an argument, almost as bad as not having wheels on a cart or going to watch Redhill because they have a shopping centre.
